My name is Lars Bezemer, a freelance photographer, videographer and stagehand working under the name Just Wieb. What started as a hobby evolved into a passion, and eventually into a versatile career within the creative and technical world of live entertainment.
My journey began in 2013 with nature and wildlife photography. Every weekend I would head outdoors in search of the perfect moment in nature. During that time, I was also actively involved with my own photography group, Unique Nature, on Flickr, where my love for visual storytelling continued to grow. Photography became more than just a hobby — it became a way of capturing and sharing stories.
In 2017, I discovered concert photography, and a whole new world opened up. My passion for music and imagery came together on stages and at festivals. I worked at various concerts and festivals and occasionally explored classical music performances as well. A highlight during this period was touring with the Australian metal band From Crisis To Collapse — an experience that pushed my work to the next level.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I joined a film collective formed by stage technicians. Together, we focused on keeping live music alive through professional live-stream and concert registrations. Although I had previously worked on video projects, this was the moment I truly built a strong foundation in videography.
My work as a stagehand developed naturally from years of working alongside stage technicians. Today, I regularly work at major Dutch festivals such as Pinkpop, Lowlands, North Sea Jazz and Down The Rabbit Hole. I also frequently collaborate with Poppodium Patronaat and Caprera Openluchttheater.
My responsibilities go beyond the traditional role of a stagehand. I provide support as a backliner, assist with lighting and sound crews, work as part of the site crew, and handle artist transport and guidance. I like to describe this as Stagehand plus — technically skilled, adaptable, and always maintaining a clear overview of the production.
Are you looking for an all-round photographer or videographer? While my portfolio showcases a strong focus on music, my work extends far beyond the music industry. I am also available to support events and concert productions. Thanks to my broad professional network — including videographers, lighting and sound technicians, stagehands, and production specialists — we can take on both small-scale and large-scale projects.
In addition, I offer high-quality photo printing up to A3+ format. From affordable premium prints to fine art prints on museum-grade paper, your images deserve the best possible presentation.
If you have an idea or project in mind, feel free to get in touch. There is always more possible than you think.
